What is grammar exactly is it just punctuations and fragments? People say that correct grammar will stick with them for forever. Grammar will be the reason they will be successful in life and have an amazing job that might take them far. Grammar is what people look at when they will apply for their future school, their careers and life.

Forbes writer Susan Adams believes good grammar shows how well individual people listen and pay attention to others. Adams said “while speaking the correct grammar has more of an intelligent conversation”. Adams believes that good grammar will show how organized people are in their thoughts and intentions.  It’s important that when people are communicating to speak clearly so that their intensions makes sense to that specific to others. Also people should stop using the pause words and take our time and think about what they are going to say. Listen closely to what the other person has to say. (Adams)  Kyle Weins CEO of ifxit also thinks that using good grammar is important because it makes good business. Weins said “applicants who don’t think writing is important are likely to think other things are less important”. Kyle Weins says the way people speak with correct grammar is the way people will write especially if people are working for an internet company. He also said” he won’t hire potential employees that do not have good grammar”. Weins only hires people who care about detail. He believes that a grammar test is the only way he knows which applicant is best for the job. Grammar signifies more than someone’s ability. (Weins)

Being a child psychologist will have to come with hard work and different types of communication skills. The most important skill I will need to have is to be understanding. Patience is the key. We have to be gentle with our words because we don’t want the patients to think that we are attacking them for no reason. I also need to have a clear understanding about the one and let many express their selves when they are ready. Having patience is the key because it takes months for the patient to open up about their feelings. By doing so I will need to have good notes and be absolutely clear when I am talking to the patient. I will also have the patient’s parent involved in any decisions I make with the patient. (O.O.H)

While still in school there are a few a lessons I need to learn before entering my profession as a child psychologist. For, example I will need to learn how to speak clearly and be more precise while talking to anyone and giving a presentation. Another trait I will need to succeed is writing and taking good notes. Especially in my career I will need every detail of what the client is saying.

Everyone has a choice to use good or bad grammar. I will say grammar is going to be like my partner in crime. Using good grammar will depend on if I will climb up the corporate ladder or be stuck at a mediocre job. It will either get me to my goal or it will stop me and I will fail in life. But the choice is really mine.
